I've had the pleasure of working with Rafaela at Squair, where we collaborated on product creation. She’s an incredibly talented product designer with a keen eye for detail, using a wide range of design skills to bring ideas to life. At Squair, we worked on developing both physical and digital products, going through the entire process from concept and prototyping to implementation. Rafaela played a key role in ensuring that our products were not only coherent and effective to users, but also well-presented and appealing to clients while maintaining high standards. She was also great at communicating and collaborating with our engineering team, making the entire workflow smooth and efficient. Rafaela’s creativity and problem-solving skills always stood out, and she has a unique ability to balance aesthetics with functionality. I worked with Rafaela during Hacking.Rio 2021, where she applied her product design skills and leadership to guide the team in creating the winning product. She played a crucial role in brainstorming and simplifying complex ideas in a way the team and client would understand and agree. She effectively communicated with the users and stakeholders to understand the key problems and gather valuable feedback. Rafaela ensured the final product met project constraints, stayed within budget, and was both user-friendly to the final user and practical to integrate in the client's current portfolio. I feel super lucky to have met and worked with Rafaela for a whole semester! It felt easy not only due to her vast previous experience on Industrial, Product and UX/UI design, which lifted our project, but also her kindness to teach me so much during the process. I will always remember her detailed approach on doing user journeys and documenting website flows! But besides her technical skills, what impressed me most was Rafaela's ability to effectively communicate within the team, and glue together designers from different backgrounds, from industrial to communication, to work seamlessly together.
